The main features of public procurement of grain in the 2017/18 season:

1. The decrease in purchase prices for wheat and barley compared to the prices in 2016/17: milling wheat 3 CL. 600 RUB/t (up to 10900 10300 RUB/ton), wheat of 4 class – 1400 RUB/t (up to 10400 9000 RUB/t), fodder wheat – for 1200 rubles/t (from 8800 to 7600 roubles per tonne) and barley – 400 RUB (from 8000 to 7600 rubles/t). Rye and corn prices remain the same.
2. For the first time introduced the procurement price of wheat of 1st and 2nd class.
3. Trades are conducted on the so-called Dutch auction, i.e. at lower prices.
4. In the case of a decision on state procurement interventions, their implementation will take place against the background of increased stocks of grain in gife, way PNG, which amount to 4 million tons and with already a high degree of fullness of accredited elevators.

The proposals of the Ministry of agriculture seemed logical, analysts say "Sovekon": "prices are moving closer to market, the emphasis is on purchase high-quality wheat, to compete with the exporters who are mainly working with wheat 4 CL., do not create".
