As informed the Deputy Chairman of the Krai government – Minister of agriculture of region Leonid Shorohov, this year the economy went into a significant increase in the area of feed.

"According to preliminary data, 65.7% increase in the sowing of oilseeds, including 61% of spring rape at 380% – soybeans, 330% sunflower. 9.7% increased the area of bean, including 27% of Lupin", — said the Minister. In addition, farmers have planted significantly more at home to 255%.

Shorokhov reported that in 2017, the capacity of grain storage in the Krasnoyarsk region make up 3 198,4 thousand tons of simultaneous storage. He noted that the available storage capacity allows you to place 2 558.5 thousand tons of grain.
