Milk production in Karelia in the next five to six years it is planned to increase by at least 25% compared to the current 66 thousand tons per year, said in an interview with RIA Novosti the head of the region Alexander Khudilainen.
"We produced 66 thousand tons of milk per year. Intend in the next five to six years to increase production of the same milk at least a quarter", he said.
According to him, to achieve these targets is possible through funding from the agricultural Bank program of support of agriculture of the Republic.
"Today I held a deep audit, two weeks ago a meeting was held in the agricultural Bank, formed a working group — we are confident that we will be accepted and confirmed funding through the agricultural Bank program of support of agriculture", — said the Khudilainen.
