The Russian President Vladimir Putin said after talks in Milan with the Prime Minister of Italy Matteo Renzi, what sanctions will eventually be able to get rid of, writes Rosbalt.

"I expect that sooner or later we all will get rid of the constraints facing today", — said Putin.

According to Putin, the sanctions affect the Russian-Italian cooperation.

"There's not much of what cooperation, to be honest, it does not matter for Russia's defense capability. But the rejection of some pre-planned joint actions and contracts has led to the fact that the Italian company sustained a loss of one billion euros. Could get, could load their businesses, to create jobs. This did not happen because of the sanctions", — said the Russian President.

He added that he had discussed with Renzi the subject of sanctions, but "as pragmatically: not in terms of cancellations, reductions, we talked about how these sanctions are preventing to develop our relationship." Putin recalled that a few Russian-Italian project was "frozen" and cannot be implemented now.

"Just need to find a way out — you cancel or sanctions, or any other offer tools, unless, of course, want to support their company. We partner find, but I think you should not abandon well-established instruments and contracts", — said the President of the Russian Federation.

He also noticed that by the end of 2014 the trade turnover between Russia and Italy decreased by 10%, in the first quarter of 2015 — 25%. "This situation, of course, cannot settle us," — said Putin previously.

In August 2014, after the presidential decree, the government has imposed a total ban on deliveries of beef, pork, poultry, fish, cheese, milk, fruits, and vegetables from Australia, Canada, EU, US and Norway for a period of one year. Later changes were made to the list of goods prohibited for import.

In early June, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said that Russia may lift the embargo with food biological materials that are not produced in Russia.
