In Yakutia the discussion of the draft national Law on agriculture, the press service of the Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The preparation of the draft law is under special control of Egor Borisov.

In his words, "it is time to change the approach to rural development in General, to build new relationships with agricultural producers," the statement reads.

The head of the Republic considers that the bill should be spelled out objectives, principles and directions of development of agriculture, taking into account peculiarities of the region. The emphasis should be on providing people with local food producers, as well as on the development of local farmers.

The bill is planned to submit for consideration in the State Assembly (Il Tumen) of the Sakha Republic (Yakutia) in the autumn of the current year.
