This year Ufa students will not receive milk. The city Council of Ufa has decided to curtail the program "School milk" and reversed the decree on the free distribution of milk to the students of Junior classes, writes tdnu.ru.

Money previously allocated for this program, will direct on support of needy families, told the site in the city Council. This is about 30 million rubles. Program "School milk" worked in Ufa since 2007. For the younger pupils were handing out free milk three times a week. According to officials, the children often took the packages home with milk and drink it at school, which reduced the benefit from the program.

Previously, the program turned in Krasnoyarsk. The reasons were named the same as in Ufa – to follow the children cannot, and you cannot force them to drink milk at school. In Krasnoyarsk children received 200 gr. milk every day. With a budget of $ 90 million rubles per year.

In Udmurtia, which in 2005 began the Russian history of the program, in July agreed to increase the budget for the program "School milk" to RUB 15 million to 213 million rubles in 2015.
