In the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation held a teleconference, videoconference meeting on the situation in the grain market. The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister Sergey Levin.

About the situation in the Saratov region reported the head of the relevant regional Department Tatiana Kravtsev.

She said that at present, work on the harvest still ongoing, gross yield is 1.8 million tons (removed 85%). The shortage due to the drought and the imposition of emergency in the region of 1.5 million tonnes.
There is a stable price situation on the grain market of the Saratov region: wheat class 3 - 9,8-10,5 thousand rubles per ton, wheat 4 classes - 9-10 thousand rubles, wheat class 5 – 8-8,5 thousand rubles, food rye, barley PFC - 8,5 thousand rubles per ton.

Grain traders buy red lentils, green for the price of 37 thousand rubles per ton, flax worth 22 thousand rubles per 1 ton, chickpea by price 30-33 thousand rubles per 1 ton, safflower - 13 thousand rubles.

The purchase prices for oilseeds sunflower harvest in 2015 are declared at the level of 23 thousand rubles per ton.

The change in the current year, the timing of the start of purchasing interventions in the period of harvesting has allowed to stabilize the situation on the grain market and falling prices in the period of mass arrivals of grain.

Currently average input prices prevailing at the grain market of the region wheat of 3, 4 and 5 class, food rye, barley commodity exceeds the declared level of minimum prices under the state purchasing interventions in respect of grain harvest in 2015.
