A leader in the cultivation of vegetables has become gorodishchensky area, where it was sold more than 220 tons of products. This year has been very fruitful for onions, it is sold in the region of 193.7 thousand tons. Carrots sold more than 60 thousand tons, tomatoes – more than 30,8 thousand tons, cabbage — more than 21.2 thousand tons, cucumbers — about 25.5 thousand tons.

As reported by the Committee of agriculture in the region, in this season in the Volgograd region the potatoes are collected at 167% more than last year – a total of 31.4 thousand tons. Watermelons and melons – about 63 thousand tons.
