Agrarians of Altai territory in 2015 increased wheat yield by 21% compared with last year, reports the press center of the regional administration with reference to Deputy Governor Alexander Lukyanov.

"This year the main crop - wheat - received 2.55 million tons, which corresponds to mean annual indicators. Last year the production volumes totaled 2.1 million tons. Grain quality is excellent, corresponds to the highest characteristics", - said Lukyanov.

In General, the grain yield of the province for the results of the current season will exceed 4 million tons. In 2014 agrarians of the region has received 3.5 million tons of grain. Thus, projected crop growth more than 14%.
