World prices for live cattle continue to rise. This growth is particularly noticeable in Canada (+1.7 percent). For the month cattle also rose in all countries on average by 3.9%.

Compared with the previous week in U.S. beef prices continue to strengthen, and in Uruguay to fall by 1.1%. Compared to the level a month ago in the US the price of beef is higher, and in Uruguay below.

From 1 to 7 February, the import of frozen beef to Russia (without data on trade within the Customs Union) amounted to 3.8 thousand tons, of chilled beef to 0.003 thousand tons of beef offal – 1.6 tons.

On 7 February 2016 the supply of chilled beef quota totaled 0.02 thousand tons, which is 0,04% of the allocated quota. Outside the quota were delivered to Russia of the order of 0.02 thousand tons, which is 59,0% of the total supplied chilled beef.

Quoted deliveries of frozen beef during the period was 10.7 thousand tonnes, representing 2.02 per cent of the size of the allocated quota. Outside the quota in Russia was delivered about 2.1 thousand tons, which is 16.2% of the total volume supplied frozen beef.

As of February 15, 2016 in the wholesale segment of the northwestern Federal district the price of sirloin was $ 364,4 USD/kg, trimming (80% lean) – 194,3 USD/kg Average prices for heart $ 138,3 USD/kg, liver – 148,8 USD/kg.

In the Central Federal district by that date, the average wholesale prices on the sirloin was 363,8 USD/kg, trimming (80% lean) – 214,7 USD/kg, heart – 141,96 USD/kg, liver – to 139.3 USD/kg.
