In 2016, the agro-industrial complex of Bryansk region could rise to 20%, informs a press-service of the regional government.

During the St. Petersburg international economic forum the head of the region Alexander Bogomaz had a conversation with the TASS correspondent and informed him about the development of agriculture.

– If last year in the agricultural sector had a growth of 15.5% in 2014, it is only in the first quarter of 2016, we have more than 11%. That is, in 2014, we've grown almost on 30%, — said Alexander Bogomaz.

The development of agriculture contribute to the sanctions taken by Russia in retaliation.
