The meeting was attended by representatives of the Commission, state Executive authorities and scientific circles of the countries of the EAEU.

The experts of the parties agreed on the draft Recommendations of the EEC on the coordination of scientific and innovation activities of States in the Union in agriculture. It provides that the implementation of joint research and innovation activities in agroindustrial complex of the countries of the Union will be guided by the List of ongoing and planned up to 2020 research and development work in the agricultural sector of member States nuclear power plants.

"The list prepared on the basis of the information of the parties to coordinate joint research and innovation activities in the agricultural sector, enhance the interaction efficiency and effectiveness in the use of scientific potential, the rational spending of funds, avoid duplication of research and development in this area", — stated in the message.

Approved at the meeting of the working group documents will be submitted for consideration at the next meeting of the Consultative Committee on agriculture under the Board of the Commission.
