The program is designed to provide entrepreneurs the opportunity to develop business in the field of food and agricultural technology.

Selected program participants will present innovative solutions in ONE: a Conference of ideas held Alltech in Lexington, Kentucky, USA, in may 2017, which will bring together more than 3,000 participants from almost 80 countries. This is a "showcase" where participants will talk about their business to future clients, investors and potential partners.

The program is looking for entrepreneurs that can change the rules of the game. Given the number of opportunities available in the market today in agribusiness, farmers and producers have to make decisions exactly based on scientific point of view, with the help of agricultural technology and using Big data (Big Data).

Accepting applications for the program is already open. Successful candidates will be able to participate in the program in January 2017.

Alltech will invest up to $ 10 million U.S. program "Business accelerator Pierce of Lyons". Most of these means will be directed on support of participants during training in a three-month training camp under the guidance of Aidan Connolly, Vice President for innovation at Alltech, and other industry representatives.

The program aims to inspire entrepreneurs and to contribute to the success of the projects in the final stages of development. The program will work as a stimulating platform, enabling innovators to develop projects under the guidance of highly qualified mentors and in close connection with industry. Reception of applications for participation in the business accelerator Lyons Pier is open until 11 November 2016. Entry is open to projects from different business sectors; projects related to agriculture, food production and agricultural technologies will have an advantage.
