IGS Agro company announced the beginning of construction in the special economic zone "Alabuga" (Tatarstan) complex to grow to 10.8 thousand tons of mushrooms and the production of 40 tons of compost per year.
Mushroom complex will be the first in the Republic of industrial enterprise in this sector and are among the largest in the country. The launch of the first phase with a capacity of 3.6 thousand tons of mushrooms and 20 tons of compost is scheduled for September 2017, output three phases design parameters for 2020.
The volume of investments is estimated at more than 1.5 billion rubles, the estimated payback period is five years. After the introduction of the first phase the company expects the annual turnover of 500 million rubles.
The mushrooms IGS Agro in the future expects to take 20% of the market, the compost is 80%. The complex will be the first Russian industrial manufacturer of commercial compost third phase – that is, germinated mushroom mycelium. Now the company is negotiating with other market participants on the supply of compost material.
