Low rates of planned volume of industrial fishing in the Republic due to the following factors: high water levels during the summer fishing season on the rivers Lena, Indigirka, Yana, Kolyma, weak reverse "course" fish of the winter fishing season fishing on all rivers of the Republic.

For the period January-November of the current year the state support was delivered to Yakutsk, about 1670 tons of fish, of which road transport in February-March, 851 ton fish winter fishing season 2015, water transport 804 tons, air transport 15 tons.

It should be noted that local processing enterprises because of the limitations of the domestic market and working capital purchasing the whole volume of fish caught in the Northern and Arctic uluses. Fisheries are forced to sell their products outside the country, according to the state Committee of Yakutia on the Arctic.
