Changes to the budget in 2016, initiated by the Governor of Leningrad region Alexander Drozdenko, submitted to the Legislature of the region.

Under the proposed adjustments, it is planned to increase support for agriculture, increasing it by 67.9 million rubles, the Main volume will be allocated for compensation of expenses of farmers on the purchase of agricultural machinery and equipment. Source of funding will be the funds resulting from the reduction of maintenance costs of public authorities (procurement of goods and services, wages).

In addition, the bill contains a number of changes in expected grant revenues from the Federal budget and other sources. Adjustments the income of the regional budget for 2016 are projected at about 98.9 billion rubles, expenses – only 114.2 billion rubles. the Proposed changes will not entail increase of the budget deficit.
