On the festive Christmas table Dmitry Medvedev will be a variety of Russian-made products. The Prime Minister told in interview to the program "week" on NTV.

"Import substitution actually failed if we talk about the substitution on our table, about the appearance of this new table to our Russian food. Naturally, we decided the most important tasks for import substitution: the production of meat products, and fish, and vegetables and fruits. A significant part of all this is already available in our country, so on my Christmas table is sure to be a fish, meat and vegetables, which are produced in our country, and those companies that were created in the last few years,"he said.

Earlier in an interview with Russian television, Prime Minister has stated that Russia will retain food embargo as a retaliatory measure on anti-Russian sanctions. Dmitry Medvedev is confident that Russia in the coming years will close all of its needs in the food market.
