The Vice-Governor Andrew Carton said the Agency TASS.

"In 2017 we will focus on the development of cooperation, support of small farms, the consolidation of industries that will be able to compete at the level of large and medium farms. The funds will be allocated from Federal and regional budgets", — said Deputy head of the region.

Grants can be allocated for strengthening the material-technical base. Including the construction, reconstruction or modernization of production facilities, purchase of equipment and payment of dues under the lease agreements. One of the conditions of use of the grant – the cooperative must have the ability to pay at least 40% of the purchase price specified in the spending plan.

In addition, according to the Deputy Governor in 2017 it is planned to increase the amount of grants for beginning farmers. Up to 3 million rubles will be able to farmers wanting to start to breed cattle for meat and milk directions. Beginning farmers on other activities can qualify for grants of up to 1.5 million rubles.

There will also be an increased amount of grants for development of family livestock farms – to 30 million roubles for cattle meat and milk areas, and to 21.6 million rubles in other directions of animal husbandry. Thus one of the conditions – amount of grant must not exceed 60 % of own costs.
