According to the Ministry, the aim of the project is to create a modern rabbit breeding complex with a capacity of 720 tonnes of rabbit meat per year.

In 2016, the commissioning of the first two hangars of the complex with all utilities. From the Sverdlovsk region introduced kalikamata 800 heads and 20 heads of males of breed a white giant. In January 2017, it is expected the first breeding.

The company plans to expand the area, gradually implementing a project on cultivation and processing of dietary meat, using modern environmentally friendly technologies.

Commenting on the results of the visit of the investment project, Tatiana Kravtsev stressed that such projects for the development of the rabbit are a real example of the development of alternative directions for livestock farms that previously engaged in pig breeding. This experience is necessary to learn skilled industrial organisations, to recommend, in the first place, the areas in which the development of the pig industry imposed limitations in connection with the ASF.
