He noted that in 2016, the region harvested a record grain harvest, sugar beet, grapes and tea. Investments in the agricultural sector increased by 30% in comparison with 2015. For the first 11 months of last year they amounted to about 31 billion rubles. According to the Vice-Governor, in 2017, these positions must be held.

Box explained that this year the work of the authorities for the development of agriculture will focus on supporting horticulture, viticulture, refining Cuban raw materials.

"The main direction which was designated by the Governor, is the development of cooperatives of small farms. The cooperative movement in the Kuban should be not formal, but real", he said.

Vice-Governor said that the development cooperation provided about 245 million roubles. To support the dairy industry will allocate about 700 million rubles for livestock breeding – 300 million rubles. For the development of agro-industrial complex of the region in 2017 are going to spend about 6.3 billion rubles.
