The government of the Russian Federation dated 11 January 2017 amendments to some acts of the Government of the Russian Federation on the issue of delivery of catches of aquatic biological resources in the Russian sea ports and other places of delivery.

The adopted amendments are of great importance to the fishermen of the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol city. According to the document, the fishermen engaged in commercial fishing, can now deliver catches not only in seaports, as previously established by law, but in the other locations identified by the authorities of the regions of the Russian Federation. The opportunity for fishermen previously discussed in inter-Ministerial meetings with representatives of the border service of FSB of Russia, including the Crimean Peninsula.
