Inauguration of the XXII International specialized trade and industrial exhibition was held on 31 January in Moscow at ENEA. At the ceremony, the honorable guests delivered speeches and noted that the exhibition has grown substantially in recent years, strengthening its status as a leading agricultural forum.

One of the key events of the first day of the exhibition was the seminar-meeting on realization of the project of the Russian political party "United Russia" "Russian village". The meeting discussed the improvement of living standards and wages of workers in the agricultural sector, plans and prospects of development of rural territories, ways of increase of prestige of the professions of selhozarteli, as well as programs to attract young people to work in the countryside. He forum "Russian village" will be held in Moscow at VDNKH on June 8-9.

In the framework of the business program of the exhibition on 1 and 2 February, the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation headed by Minister A. N. Tkachev has held two meetings.

More than 700 agronomists countries have joined the all-Russian agronomical meeting. Experts gathered to discuss the outcome of the work of the plant industry for the year 2016 and preparations for the holding of seasonal field agricultural works in the current year.

All-Russia meeting of agricultural engineering services was devoted to maintenance of the existing Park of agricultural machinery, changing the order granting in 2017 agricultural producers subsidies to compensate for part of the cost of acquisition of agricultural machinery.

This year the organizers held the first "open Day" for students of specialized universities. Upon presentation of a student card, students are able to get a free pass to the exhibition and to visit its business activities.

On the last day of the exhibition hosted exhibitors ' awarding with diplomas, cups and medals. The extraordinary trade show booth recognized the ship, "SAITEX" with pirates and talking parrots on Board. The company LLC "MEGAMIX" received the award for the unique marketing support of the exhibition. For a demonstration of mobile equipment the cups and diplomas were handed over to representatives of OOO "BERDEKS" and LLC "special EQUIPMENT". For a demonstration of grain drying equipment – LLC "CORPORATION GRAIN SYSTEMS". The company 'MK TEKHNEKS" the organisers congratulated on its 25th anniversary and awarded the Cup and diploma for commitment to the exhibition. Diplomas for the original stand was awarded 18 companies.
