New VARIO harvester specially designed for harvesting grain and canola. Both models are characterized by high speed, high performance, versatility and ease of use. It is on the evolution of these indicators CLAAS relies, improving the range of reapers.

Adjust the length of the table header into the range of 700 mm

As for the reapers, the smaller the width, the length of the table in models 1230 and 1080 can fully control. Stepless adjustment of its position is in the range of from -100 to 600 mm. Mechanic can easily change the length of the table using the multifunction joystick control, and at any time to adjust the header a cleaning of grain crops (long or short straw) and rape. Even when cleaning firmly planted crops properly selected position of the table header will provide the optimum amount of plant mass. Thus, the performance of the whole machine will increase by 10%.

Separate header auger and reel

Due to the large width of both models reapers VARIO 1230 and 1080 have a split reel and auger with a support in the middle. This ensures smooth, and most importantly, stable operation even in difficult conditions: whether cleaning a damp, densely planted crop of soybean or demanding. In addition, the auger of the header and reel are made of highly durable materials, which ensures consistently high performance.

Split reel with the tine arms on the bilateral drive

One of the most important advantages of the reapers VARIO – high-quality drive technology of the header auger and reel with an optimized tine arms. Both are driven mechanically from the gearbox and the propeller shaft. Also separated from the screw and the reel cutting unit with the tines. It is driven simultaneously from two sides: left and right. This guarantees smooth and stable operation under all harvesting conditions and, therefore, contributes to the fact that the models of the reapers VARIO can operate at high speeds. Tines of both parts of the cutting unit overlap each other at the center of the harvester and provide a clean cut on the entire working width.

Model harvesters VARIO 1230 and 1080 is compatible with all harvesters from the line of LEXION, and are available on the Russian market in 2017.
