Russia is struggling with sanctions and products will be able to clean up the market from smuggling coming through third countries, including Belarus, said Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation Alexander Tkachyov within the framework of SPIEF.

According to him, the fight against contraband products in the country can be called successful.
 

"Compared to what it was a year ago, two years ago, the situation changed radically. Yes, counterfeit, unfortunately, but we mercilessly compete with such companies who indulge in these things. Itself the Belarusian side is interested to clear the market of these fakes and smuggling just because they spoil your name, and to substitute for the country, regions, separate region. So I think we can win and clean up this story. Otherwise, then the Belarusian goods will enter the Russian market, and no one needs" — said RNS Alexander Tkachev.

Earlier, the Minister said that after the introduction of Russian food embargo, Belarus became "the largest transit point products of sanctions" on the Russian market.
