The cost of the Danone group on electronic veterinary certification of finished products can be a year to 1.5 billion rubles, said regional Vice-President for corporate Affairs Danone Marina Balabanova on Thursday.

"Even for such a large company like ours, it is a huge costs can not be passed on to the consumer. In the case that this measure (electronic veterinary certification – ed.) is adopted and entered, unfortunately, it will trigger a new round of prices for dairy products, which we did not want to happen. Especially considering the fact that the market of dairy products decreases the volume", — said M. Balabanov.

According to her, Danone considers the introduction of electronic certification for dairy products "extra measure".
