Voronezh company "Molvest" plans before the end of the year to put into operation a new robotic body for milking on the farm in Kantemirovsky district. The chassis is designed for 480 cows, the volume of investments in the project will amount to 140 million rubles. Delivery 8 new milking robots Lely is expected in late October. In December will begin a gradual filling of the body of animals.

"This is the second robotic body, with eight milking robots. First, on 8 robot we launched in October 2016. It contains about 450 cows of the Jersey breed. The new building will be placed animals of Holstein breed. We expect holstine ensure sales productivity of the dairy facility due to the high yields," commented General Director SHP "Novomoskovskoe" Mr Poulin.

The choice in favor of the Holstein breed is not accidental. These cows have high productivity – give during lactation, up to 10 thousand liters of milk with a fat content of 3.7-3.9% and protein content of 3.16-3.31 per cent.

Milking robots Lely serve the most productive cows whose milk yield exceeded the average indicators and the lack of two normal milkings per day. Robot milker working around the clock and determines for each animal the exact interval of milking and feeding. When the cow enters the milking box, the machine reads the sensor on the bracelet on the leg of the animal information on the productivity of cows, data on its physical condition, and the first drops of milk determines its quality. On average, the robot provides up to 1.5 to 2 liters of milk daily from each animal compared with a conventional milking installation, and also allows you to lengthen the duration of economic use of animals for 1-2 years. While animals have the ideal conditions – frequent milking, individual approach to feeding, careful care of the udder, early detection of deviations in health status.

In the further plans "Molesta" – increase of animals. According to General Director Anatoly Losev, the gradual increase in herds due to the rational approach with a larger number of animals reduce the cost of maintenance per cow. Currently, OOO SKhP "Novomoskovskoe" contains 2 500 heads of cattle breed Montbeliard, 1100 cows of the Jersey breed and 1350 heads of red-motley breed. The total number of farms has more than 16 000 animals. Daily farm produces about 85 tons of milk per day. The company's management and the company intend to increase this amount up to 100 tons.
