According to the President of NSA Korney Bizhdov previously departments have already agreed on major amendments to the law on state support of agricultural insurance, the last meeting was devoted to several specific provisions of the bill. So, the meeting participants agreed with the abolition of the threshold of the crop. This offer comes from farmers themselves, who have repeatedly spoken on this issue in the Government, the Ministry of agriculture, the state Duma, the NSA and other agencies. According to statistics, more than 40% of refusals in insurance indemnity is due to the fact that crop damage is less than the set threshold. Also at the meeting discussed the application of minimum and maximum size of unconditional franchise in the insurance contract conclusion with state support. The parties agreed to expand the range of deductibles, provided that the deductible shall not be less than 10% and should not exceed 50% - by agreement between the landowner and the insurer.

Another issue to be discussed at the working meeting in the Ministry of agriculture, the inclusion of the law "On state support in agricultural insurance" links the ability to use crop data of space monitoring. The Agency welcomed the inclusion of space-based monitoring in the bill, but noted that the formulation requires further elaboration.
