According to the head of the Nizhny Novgorod transport Agency services of JSC "FGC" Raphael Safin, the volume of traffic in cars of the Company at the site of the Gorky railway increased by 50% compared to last year. For the first 9 months of 2017 high positive dynamics of the loading has demonstrated mineral-construction cargo transportation volume increased by 2.2 times (up to 552 thousand tons). In addition, increased volumes of ferrous metals – up to 752 thousand tons (+55%), chemical and mineral fertilizers – up to 164 thousand tons (+48%), of ferrous metals – up to 155 thousand tons (+27%).

Raphael Safin noted the increased interest of the shippers of bulk cargoes in the preparation of Russian regions to host the world Cup 2018: "the Upcoming international competition caused a rapid increase in the shipment of construction materials to address the Federal centers directly for sports facilities construction and development of infrastructure involved in the preparatory work of the regions."

Transportation in covered wagons from the stations of the Gorky railway for the first 9 months of 2017 increased by 10% (to 279 thousand tons), including: chemicals and soda – 2 times (up to 72 thousand tons), paper 38% (19 thousand tons), etc.

Traffic volume in the tanks of JSC Federal freight increased 2.7% to 238,5 thousand tons.
