"We will produce joint programmes for training of cheese makers and farmers due to the new criteria, the innovative technology adopted in Europe. I think that the Moscow regional University will be the main "enterprise", which takes a direct part in this program in cooperation with Fribourg University," said Zubarev after the presentation of investment potential of the Moscow region in Switzerland.
According to him, the first 20-30 farmers from the suburbs will be able to learn cheese-making in the first half of 2018. The course is conducted in French and German, however, the official did not rule out the possibility of adapting the Swiss training programme for Russia. "The Russian side will be given curriculum on the basis of which will develop a joint training program. We have or select farmers, who possess French or German — learning at the University is bilingual, or adapt the program," added Zubarev.
The purpose of training farmers in the study of the experiences of Swiss cheese and the development of its own product. Part of the cost of educating cheese makers can take on the suburban government.
