"Just in the suburbs there is enough capacity to process 1.6 million tonnes of milk a year, but actually processed the 1.2-1.3 million tons. Our goal is by 2021 to reach the level of dairy production to 1 million tons," he said, noting that this is a very ambitious goal.

While the cost of milk production in the Moscow region remains high, said Razin. "Moscow oblast is the region with the largest network of roads of regional and Federal importance. To handle the field, our farmers, in some cases, have hundreds of times to cross major highways. This requires special equipment, vehicles for transportation of tractors - all of this ultimately affects the cost of dairy products," he explained.
