"From November 1 we returned to 27.2 thousand leased gondola cars under the management of the Federal freight company from April 2016. Park of gondola cars of JSC "FGC" decreased by 23%, and this decreased the ability of the Company to meet customer demand in full. At the end of November has naturally occurred retirement Park comparable reduction of volume of transportations in cars of the Company", – said the first Deputy General Director of JSC "Federal freight" Victor Voronovich.

He noted that the Company will continue its policy of intensive replenishment of the gondola fleet – acquisition of property, rental and leasing and the implementation of measures to improve the performance of the cars. "By improving planning systems and logistics management in November, we exceeded the plan of loading the basic raw goods in open wagons by 5% and increased profit margins by 7.7% due to reduced costs for empty run", – said Victor Voronovich.

By results of work of JSC "FGK" for 11 months of 2017, the Company's share on the market of freight traffic on the Russian Railways network amounted to 14.2% (+0.8 p. p. to the level of last year), the share in turnover of 16.5% (+1.1 percentage points).
