"The minimum retail price (MRTS) on still wines should be 180-190 rubles per bottle of 0.75 liters. If we at the start will deliver high MRC, unscrupulous manufacturers will be able to earn due to a sharp increase in market prices. So we decided now to offer a minimum price below 200 rubles," — said Akhpashev.

He added that the agriculture Ministry finally will form a proposal on this issue by the spring of 2018, and then send it to the address of the Ministry of Finance — a minimum price for alcohol are set by that office.

The newspaper notes that previously the Ministry of agriculture has proposed to establish minimum prices for wine in Russia, then it was about 250 rubles for a bottle.
