The authorities of the Astrakhan region plan to present at the investment forum Sochi-2018 project of the greenhouse complex for 2.5 billion rubles, the commissioning of which will allow the region year-round to grow vegetables and berries. To implement the project is planned with investors from the Netherlands, said on Thursday TASS in the Ministry of economic development of the Astrakhan region.

"In recent years, this will be one of the major projects is the establishment of greenhouses, and implementation is planned with the foreign investor from the Netherlands. The area of the land plot (under the project) will amount to 34 hectares, the area of greenhouses is approximately 10 ha. Will be created more than 150 jobs. The total investment will exceed 2.5 billion rubles," - said in the Ministry.

As explained in the press service of the Governor, the greenhouse complex will be equipped with modern equipment with automated control systems of mineral nutrition and climate. The second project, which will be presented at the investment forum, is a special economic zone (SEZ) "Lotus". In her presentation you will learn about all eight plants, the construction of which has already begun. It is also planned that in Sochi the agreement will be signed between the management company PJSC "Lotus" and the company "the crystal" (Berdsk).
"The project aims at growing single crystals of silicon and production of solar photovoltaic panels, characterised by high efficiency. The planned volume of investments 1,5 billion rubles," - said the press service.

The SEZ "Lotus" is located in the Narimanov district of the Astrakhan region. The status of residents in eight companies, including one foreign - Azerbaijani "Atef Russ" (production of electrical equipment). The total amount of the investment is more than 24 billion rubles. Now in the SEZ are working on infrastructure development and started construction of the first plants.
