Today, February 27, in Yekaterinburg, presented a new agricultural project — the construction of the largest in Russia and Europe of a farm of dairy goats agricultural holding "UMMC-agro".

As reported in the press service of the company, it is planned that the farm will contain 12 thousand dairy goats, which is 2.5 times more than in the largest Russian enterprises. The scale of the project is not inferior to European farms. So, in Holland called a large farm, which contains about 7-9 thousand heads.

The construction of the farm will begin in 2018 in the village of Pokrovskoe of the Artemovsky district of Sverdlovsk region. On the farm are planning to 18.2 thousand tons of goat milk per year. Additionally, 2.6 thousand tons it is planned to produce on a working farm "UMMC-agro", to open in 2016. To service the largest Russian farm it is planned to organize about 200 jobs. Cattle-breeding complex will be a "nursery" for kids (0-2 months), a separate corps for the young (2-7 months) and lactating goats, a specially equipped area for storage and preparation of feed. The Central place will occupy the milking parlor. The main equipment for the farm is planned to be delivered from Europe — the milking carousel, feeders, automatic waterers with warm water and etc. In operation a new object will be introduced in two stages in 2020 and 2021. To complement the plan only breeding flock of goats, which the two parties will bring from abroad. Discusses options for the purchase of young stock farms in the Netherlands, the UK, Australia, New Zealand. Available to the company the Alpine breed of goats brought from France, will acquire two dairy breeds, one of which will saranskoy. In the future the farm of the "UMMC-agro" plans to engage in the sale of animals for breeding — to 7 thousand animals each year.

New investment project of the holding will also be implemented with state support.
