"Companies have already started breeding trout, not even one company, but several farms", — told reporters the head of North Ossetia Vyacheslav Bitarov after the presentation of investment potential of the Republic for members of the Association of European businesses in Moscow.

"I hope that it will soon become the hallmark of the Republic. The fact that the water in our mountain rivers do not dry up. And since the course is very fast, the pathogenic factor at a very low level is so very low the likelihood that the trout will get sick. It's growing very quickly. And we very much hope that those fifty-odd enterprises that functioned during the Soviet Union, will again begin to live. I think Ossetian trout will continue to delight residents of the Russian Federation pretty soon," — said Ignatieff.
