The Ministry of industry and trade of the Russian Federation suggests the government to increase to 10% import duty on equipment for the food industry. This was stated by the Minister of industry and trade of Russia Denis Manturov at a meeting of the government Commission on import substitution.
"As additional regulatory support for pishemash we propose to raise the import duties on all equipment up to the level of 0.5% to 10% is what we have the opportunity to do in the WTO", - said Manturov.
According to him, in detail all proposals for the development of mechanical engineering food processing industry is reflected in the draft sectoral strategies, which in the near future is invited to adopt at the government level.
