Three businesses will be delivered to Chukotka 8.6 thousand tons of food in the framework of Northern delivery in 2018. This was reported by the correspondent of TASS on Monday, the Deputy chief of regional Department of industrial and agricultural policy Valery Kozlov.

"The level of imported food will remain at the level of the previous year and amounted to 8.6 thousand tons. News delivery will continue to lead three companies", - said the Agency interlocutor.

The largest portion of food will deliver the state enterprise "Chukotka wholesale trade", the area of responsibility of which - the village of Anadyr, Chukotka areas and Providence city district. The company will deliver 5.3 thousand tons of food. The company now conducts the selection of suppliers and concludes contracts on freight ships. All will be made five flights from Vladivostok.

From Arkhangelsk to Pevek will be two ships with food cargo. It is designed for two municipal enterprises - Bilibino and Chaun trading companies. The first ship is already under load in Arkhangelsk.

Summer navigation in the Chukotka Autonomous district begins on 1 June and lasts until mid-October.
