"At the moment the damage from the lack of rainfall has already reached more than one billion rubles, unfortunately. In five regions of the Peninsula there was no rain... About 100 thousand hectares of fields, mostly in grain farming is almost gone," — said the head of the RK.

As reported IA REGNUM, low moisture supply of the Peninsula was one of the main problems for local farmers.

"Agricultural producers this year suffered seriously from drought.
