Eggs of nine pieces in Russia started selling Udmurtskaya poultry plant "Varaksino" (Agroholding "KOMOS Group"), a supplier of packaging for which is a Danish company Hartmann, reports Deutsche Welle.

The head of Department on work with the countries of the EAEU German branch of Hartmann Verpackung GmbH Viktor waltz told that the trays of nine eggs, the company began producing about 20 years ago for the UK, where they sell eggs at 12, 6 and 9 pieces.

The company produces not more than 250 thousand nine trays of eggs per year, the total production volume is about 2 billion pieces.

Waltz surprised by the reaction of the Russians on trays of nine eggs, as, according to him, the first deliveries of packaging to the Russian poultry company started 10 years ago.

The press service of the agricultural holding "KOMOS Group" reported that the poultry farm products are Packed in containers of 10 and 9 eggs, and at 6, 8, 12, 20 and 30 pieces, depending on requirements brands or networks.

Nine eggs, according to the company, appeared in several networks in Moscow and St. Petersburg in March and October 2018. Soon the stores will be eggs in a package of 12 pieces.
