All indicators higher than last year, said the Department. Milk yield per cow has more than 4700 liters, that's 300 litres more than the previous year. By the end of 2019, the milk yield per cow will increase to 7500 litres.

The region continues implementation of projects for the production of poultry, pigs, milk. Construction of new cattle-breeding complexes on manufacture of meat of a Turkey, rabbits, breeding and fish processing. Overlook the design capacity of the breeding and genetic center in pig breeding, the center for the production and transplanting cattle embryos.

Enterprises of food and processing industry of the Lipetsk region in January-July, shipped goods amounting to 76.3 billion rubles. Industry leaders are manufacturers of vegetable oils, they increased the production by 42%, and juice producers – 34%.

In General, in the Lipetsk region today are implemented 38 investment projects worth more than 100 billion rubles, which will provide new jobs with decent wages.
