First Deputy Governor of the Kurgan region – the Director of Department of agroindustrial complex Sergey Pugin stated that in the region active preparations for the sowing campaign. Field work is scheduled to begin in the second half of April.

Costs Kurgan farmers to crop the land will exceed 3.7 billion rubles. Some of the costs will be government funds.

"Funds for unrelated support agricultural producers listed in full. Total Federal funding is 353,4 million rubles, regional – 18,6 million roubles", – said Sergey Pugin.

As reported by "Pravda UrFO" the press service of the Department of agriculture of the Kurgan region, the security of the region, seeds of grain and leguminous crops, potatoes and vegetables currently reaches 100%.

However, prior to sowing conditions brought only 55% of grain seeds. Willingness of agricultural machinery for field works in municipal areas is 85%, the density of diesel fuel – 61%. Mineral fertilizers accumulated 36% of the needs.

Recall that in 2016 it is planned to remove 1.9 million tons of grain. For this purpose it is planned to increase the area under grain and oilseed crops to 1.1 million hectares.
