Sunflower oil exports (January/July, 2013)

In January-July, 2013 Russia totally exported 659,963 thousand tons of sunflower oil (544,616
thousand tons in bulk, 115,347 thousand tons - bottled) and imported 8,133 thousand tons.
In the same period since the beginning of last year 1 063,994 thousand tons were exported (955,756 thousand tons in bulk and 108,235 thousand tons - bottled) and 4,176 thousand
tons were imported.
Following the results of 2013 rates of sunflower oil exports decreased due to reduction
of in bulk export volumes. Export of bottled sunflower oil, on the contrary,
grew by 7,112 thousand tons. Oil imports increased by 3,957 thousand tons in
comparison with the similar period of last year. In comparison with January –
July of last year a percentage of bottled and in bulk oil increased in favor of
bottled oil: the share of bottled oil exports grew by 6,57%.
