From January till October, 2013 Russia imported 569,911 thousand tons of palm oil. For the
same period since the beginning of 2012 import made 420,760 thousand tons of
oil. Palm oil import volumes by Russian companies grew by 149,151 thousand tons
in comparison with 2012.
In January-October, 2013 a permanent leader among palm oil export countries to Russia was Indonesia,
which share remained at a level of 79% of the market.
In October, 2013 palm oil import by Russian companies made 63,450 thousand tons, that is 6,986
thousand tons more than in September.
In total since the beginning of the season 2013/14 Russia has imported 119,913
thousand tons and exported 13,732 t of palm oil.
