In the Voronezh region, the gross grain harvest as of July 25 amounted to 1 million tons in weight after processing. Removed 27% of the planned areas of early grain crops (312,7 thousand ha) average yield of grain crops amounted to 34 kg/ha. Share of food grains to date is 50% of the surveyed parties.

Last year's gross grain harvest at the same date amounted to 577 thousand tons with an average yield of 26.2 t/ha. By the end of 2015, the Voronezh oblast took the first place in the Central Federal district and fourth in the whole of Russia's gross grain harvest - 4.2 million tons of grain and leguminous crops.

In the regional Department of agrarian policy of the region reported that heavy rainfall that passed through the entire earth, significantly reduced the rate of harvesting, however, "under favorable conditions the gross grain harvest this year is expected to reach 4.5 million tonnes.

At this stage, the highest grain yield observed in Anninskiy (44,4 kg/ha), Petropavlovsk (43.6 q/ha), Liski (40,9 dt/ha), REP (41,0 kg/ha), Ramonsky and Khokholsky districts (more than 40 kg/ha). The average yield of winter crops is 37.6 t/ha, the highest score in REP district - 48,3 kg/ha.

The yield of spring barley this year has reached 32 kg/ha, previously such a result was recorded in 2008.
