The government has accepted the proposal of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation on the implementation to 1 September 2016 in the state commodity interventions of grain harvest in 2015 from the reserves of the intervention Fund without exchange tendering, the corresponding order is published on the website of the Cabinet.

"This decision will allow to provide grain to agricultural producers at reasonable prices and to free capacities for storage of grain", — stated in the certificate to the document.

According to the government, expenditure commitments associated with the implementation of this decision, will be financed within the budget allocations earmarked for the Ministry of agriculture in the Federal budget for 2016.

The grain last year's harvest are sold to make room for production this year. Earlier, the Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation, Alexander Tkachev, told RIA Novosti that the purchase of grain to the state intervention Fund of the Russian Federation in the current agricultural year will begin in August-September and will be targeted. The Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation in the course of grain interventions 2016-2017 agricultural year plans to purchase about 2 million tons of grain.
