SBU announced the suspension of foreign economic activity of nearly 250 companies that have cooperated with businessmen in the uncontrolled territories of Kiev Donbass

The Ukrainian authorities adopted a decision on temporary suspension of foreign economic activity 243 Russian companies, according to the website of the security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

We are talking about Russian companies that are "doing business with commercial entities temporarily occupied by terrorists territories," says SBU. While checking the SBU established that the majority of these companies works with the Ukrainian partners and is not subject to the previously imposed sanctions by Ukraine.

Check the materials of the SBU handed over to the Ministry of economic development and trade of Ukraine, which experts found that Ukrainian producers are able to fully compensate for Russian imports, said the Ukrainian special services.

"Accordingly, it was decided on the temporary suspension of foreign economic activities of Russian companies", — stated in the message of the SBU.

The names of the companies, made by the SBU in the black list, were not disclosed.

In early July 2016, the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko extended the validity of the embargo on the import of Russian goods until 31 December 2017. The embargo includes a ban on the importation into Ukraine from Russia of beef, pork and poultry, fish, vodka, beer, filter cigarettes, confectionery, baby food, food for cats and dogs, as well as several other products. The restrictions apply to the importation of insecticides and herbicides Russian-made locomotives and equipment for Railways, as well as a number of goods.
