Active sowing of oilseeds is despite the fact that the start was rather late because of the drought. By the end of July planted 14.9 million hectares, which is more than last year's result by 4%.

As of 27 July, the rainfall reached the five-year average values, which will positively affect soybean crops. 80% of all agricultural areas the amount of precipitation is estimated above the long-term average, and in some areas they dropped an excessive amount that may lead to replanting to soybeans.

The Ministry of agriculture of India estimates future harvest high. If in 2015 have been collected 9.1 million tons, the current yield can reach 11.2 million tons. The reason will be the growth in acreage and an increase in crop yield.
