This opinion was expressed by the representative of the Association "Danube soya" in Ukraine Inna Ilyenko in the framework of the "European soybeans."

Inna Ilyenko noted that in Europe overall the national agricultural producers, specializing in the cultivation of soybeans, behind in a yield of 10%. Moreover, in Association focus primarily on what the European consumer of today is demanding to the quality of products supplied. So, on the one hand Europe, an interesting soy negma, and with another - responsibly grown on gentle agricultural technologies.

"Europe today is 98% dependent on imports of soybeans and vegetable protein in the form of soy meal. Moreover, Ukraine is known in Europe as the manufacturer of soybean No. 1. Because we have the opportunity to take this excellent niche to compete with Brazil and Argentina. Also, Ukrainian agrarians should be of interest to the premium. In the past year, we have seen that in Rotterdam on a high-protein soybean meal were offered an additional bonus of €50-70. This additional cost may be received by the Ukrainian producers and processors of soybeans", — said Inna Ilyenko.
