According to the head of the Republic, in September it is planned to complete harvesting of corn, having received another order of 400 thousand tons of grain.

The Deputy Minister noted that plans for the crop was adjusted by the weather, as in previous years. According to him, this summer, the sum of effective temperatures about 30% higher than the mean annual values of precipitation has fallen almost 40% less, which significantly adjusted the expected performance of the crop.

"If there were favorable weather conditions, in the range of 1 million tons of grain more would be received, because in the spring the weather was good, used quality seeds, on time spent sowing campaign", — he stressed.

I. Gabdrakhmanov reported that next year's harvest sowing of winter crops is expected to produce over an area of 600 thousand hectares. Currently, winter crops were sown 443,7 thousand hectares, which is 74% of the plan.

The gross grain harvest in Tatarstan has decreased significantly in recent years due to the drought, which was several years. If traditionally in Tatarstan were harvested 4.5-5 million tons of grain in 2013, collected only 2.6 million tons in 2014 to 3.6 million tonnes, in 2015 - 3.4 million tons of grain. The Tatarstan annually in full provides not only grain, but also potatoes, vegetables, other agricultural products, as well as meat, milk, egg.
