In comparison with the figure at the beginning of September last year, the stocks of grains in agricultural organizations increased by 4,344 million tons (15.9%) to 31,615 million tons, procurement and processing organizations - 1,657 million tons (13.2 per cent) to 14.17 million tons.

In particular, at the reporting date in the procurement and processing organizations were available 11,337 million tons of wheat (+19,7%), including food - 7,435 million tons (+12%).

Stocks of rye at the beginning of September was estimated at 562 thousand tonnes, in line with last year's index, including food - 502 thousand tons (+4.9 per cent).

At the same time, maize stocks by September 1, decreased by 5.8% - to 301 thousand tons, barley - by 8.5%, to 1,707 million tons. Also to the beginning of the reporting month diminished stocks of oats - 35.6%%, to 98 thousand tons.

An increase compared to the figure at the beginning of September 2015 stocks of buckwheat - by 3.2%, to 24 thousand tons, millet - by 31.6%, to 15 thousand tons.

Stocks of rice increased more than 10 times and amounted to 32 thousand tons.
